Kenny, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by several lifelong friends on February 24, 2018 after a short illness. Kenny was born April 26, 1939 to Clyde L. and Velma V. (Delk) Hollingsworth.  He graduated from Central High School in 1957.  Prior to 1957 he and his family resided in Ash Grove, Missouri.

Kenny attended Missouri State University (SMS) and St John's School of Radiologic Technology in 1961.  Kenny largely spent his 40 plus year career as Chief Technologist in the Radiology Department at Mercy Hospital. Kenny proudly served as a reservist in the US Army from 1962 – until he was honorably discharged in 1968.  Kenny was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge.  Kenny will always be remembered for his loyal friendships, love for the St. Louis Cardinals, MSU Bears Athletics, photography, and his countless trips to Hawaii.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Lee Hollingsworth, and one sister Barbara Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 10:00 am.  Burial will be at 11:00 am at Hazelwood Cemetery following the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missouri State Athletics through MSU Foundation/Athletics, Meyer Alumni Center, 300 S.
