On Thursday, July 8, 2021, Kenneth Ray Comer, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 73.

Kenneth was born on November 14 , 1947 in Springfield, MO to John and Winifred (Neff) Comer. He retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers in Springfield, MO. On December  16 , 1968, he married Margaret Ridlen. They raised two daughters, Kelly Holmes and Marcie Bradley.

Kenny was passionate about family and living a fun filled life. He enjoyed working on cars; music (managed a band called Left Lane); remote controlled cars, boats, and planes; NASCAR racing; fishing and boating; wine making; and was a devoted Shriner. Kenny was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit. He hosted the best pool parties and was always going the extra mile to help others.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, John and Winifred Comer. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his two daughters, Kelly (Bart W Holmes) and Marcie (Dan Bradley); 5 grandchildren: Caitlin, Christopher, Madalyn, Preston, and Elizabeth; one great granddaughter, Morella; brothers Gary and Richard, and sister Mary Hansen; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 PM in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, followed by funeral service at 1:00 PM.
