Obituary

Keith Stever, age 84, of Strafford, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at 1:30 p.m. on June 20, 2026.

Keith was born to Edward and Freda Stever and was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Beatrice Gaines; and his brother, Tom Stever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Georgie Stever; his daughter, Kim Davis and husband Wes; grandson Avery and wife Alex; his son, Doug Stever and wife Anne; grandsons Keith Stever and his girlfriend, Lexie; Jake Stever and daughter Malia; brother Bob Stever and wife Francis; sister-in-law Annie Stever; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Keith spent most of his career in the trucking industry, where his hard work, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit led him to successfully build and sell two trucking companies. Following his retirement in 1995, he devoted himself to farming, a pursuit he greatly enjoyed for many years.

A dedicated member of his community, Keith was active in the Strafford Masonic Lodge, the Shrine, Traffic Club, Elks Lodge, and Eagles Lodge. He valued the friendships and fellowship these organizations provided throughout his life.

Above all else, Keith treasured his family. He was blessed with three grandsons and a great-granddaughter and found immense joy in being a husband, dad, Papaw, and Great-Papaw. He loved having his family nearby and was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply spend time together. His steady presence, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed.

Keith’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched through his work, friendships, and service to his community.
