Keith W. Ireland of Springfield, MO, passed away on November 10, 2017, at the age of 94.   He was the loving husband of the late Lucille Ireland of Springfield, MO, brother to deceased brothers, Cletis Ireland, Raymond Ireland, Harold Ireland, and Kenneth Ireland.  He is the father to children, Carol Johnson, of Aurora, CO, Linda Lipscomb, San Antonio, TX, Ron Ireland, Marana, AZ, and Melanie Anderson, Tulsa, OK.  He was the loving grandfather of 9 and the great grandfather of 11.  He attended high school in Fairfield, IA and graduated from Parsons College.  He flew in 51 combat missions on a B-24 bomber in WWII, worked for Keebler Company for 38 years, was a volunteer with the American Red Cross national disaster team for 20 years, and completed his extensive volunteering life by delivering home meals for the Southside Senior Center for 3 years.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on December 16, 2017, at 1:00 pm, in the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St, Springfield, MO.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross, Seasons Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
