Kathryn Pantoga, 66, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at 4:32 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009, in St. John's Hospital. Kathryn was born in Ironton, Missouri, on February 22, 1943. She grew up in the St. Louis area and moved to Springfield in 1980. She retired from St. John's Hospital in 2005 after 23 years of service. Kathryn will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances A. Marcher; and a son, Glenn Mabry. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Mabry of Huntland, Tenn., and Adam Pantoga of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Deborah Pidgeon of Glendale, Mo.; a brother, George Marcher of St. Peters, Mo.; and her father, Kenneth Marcher of Springfield, Mo. Memorial services will be Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at 1 p.m., in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. No visitation is planned and burial will be at a later date.
