Kathryn (Dunn) Neely of Springfield, MO passed away on September 2, 2024 at age 93. She was born on August 18, 1931 in Springfield, MO to John and Inez (Davis) Dunn. Kathryn graduated from Central High School and went on to attend Southwest Missouri State. On June 10, 1950 she married Bob Neely. They were married for 61 years before Bob's passing in 2011.
Kathryn was a past member of SMMA, Drury Auxiliary, Cox Auxiliary and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Kathryn was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she volunteered in many varied capacities.
Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Linda Evans, Manhattan, KS and Nancy (Larry) Zahn, Springfield. Her grandchildren, Amy Rich, Springfield, Sara (Mike) Heptig, St. George, KS, Emily Freeman, St Louis, MO, Matthew (Bailey) Zahn, Springfield and Jacob (Lexie) Zahn, Ozark, MO. Her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Heptig, Aria Freeman and Brecken Zahn. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Dunn, Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Neely; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Steve Rich and brother, Jack Dunn.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 S. Holland Avenue, Springfield, MO with Rev. Dr. Nicholas Hagerman and Vicar Peyton Holland officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. No visitation is scheduled.

Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother and proud grandma and great-grandma. She will be dearly missed.
