Kathryn Moler, 90, Ozark, MO went to her Heavenly home January 24, 2016. Born April 8, 1925 in Newburg, MO she was 7th of 10 children born to Perry William and Amanda Ruth Blue.
She married Guy Homer Bowman May 26, 1944 and moved to Dixon. She was a loving wife and mother and active in church and community. She also worked in various positions at Brown Shoe Company before retiring after 28 years. She enjoyed collecting antique glassware and traveled to many antique shows across the US buying and selling antiques.
After her husband Guy passed away May 31, 1987 she married Charles (Chuck) M. Moler April 14, 1989. Chuck shared her love of antiques, and they opened a small antique store in St. James where they lived for several years. They later moved to Lebanon where Chuck passed away January 7, 1999.
She is survived by son Don Bowman and wife Susan of Cypress, Texas; sister Hope Mitchell of Dixon, MO; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and other family.
Others preceding her in death were her parents, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be Saturday January 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery with a graveside service at 2:30 PM. Visitation will be Friday January 29, 2016 from 7-8 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
