Kathleen A. Carter, age 67 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away August 29, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lockport, Illinois.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents William and Mildred Carter. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law William and Jasmine Carter, Dallas, TX; granddaughter MaKayla Carter, Dallas, TX (who is due October 14, 2016); sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Allan Stone; nephew and niece Richard and Wendy Stone; nephews Nick and Drew Stone and David Stone, all of Springfield, MO.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Lockport, Illinois with Pastor Phil Sheets officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield, MO at a later date.
