IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Karla Sue
Beach
March 4, 1963 – October 21, 2024
Karla Sue Beach, age 61, passed away surrounded by her family Monday, October 21 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield Missouri. She was the wife of Wayne J. Beach.
Karla was born in Denver Colorado on March 4, 1963, the daughter of Ervin and Betty Perryman.
Anyone who knew Karla would know she could light up a room in an instant and was a deeply passionate and creative person. Karla loved to make people smile, have real conversations, and could excel at almost anything she tried. She was a woman of many talents, was never boring, far from ordinary, and always finding a new way to express her creative flare.
Karla was a dedicated nurse for over 35 years. She spent 30 of those years working for Mercy Hospital here in Springfield. Although she worked in several specialties, Karla's passion in nursing was emergency medicine having worked as a staff nurse, flight nurse, and nurse manager in the Emergency Department where she always put her caring, kind heart to work in trying to brighten the days of not only her patients, but her coworkers.
Karla was a loving mother to her daughters Nicole and Ashley. Karla was a supportive and caring mother who was always willing to talk through the hard things, and always expressed her love openly with family.
Karla was preceded in death by her father Ervin Perryman.
In addition to her husband, Karla is survived by her mother Betty Perryman, her daughters Nicole (Ben) Kenney and Ashley Lucas, and her grandchildren Kaiden, Mason, and Landon Kenney.
