Karen Ann Crouch Ross, age 58, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on September 14, 2023
in her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born the first child of John Henry Crouch III and Ann Crouch in June, 1965 in
Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from Mississippi State University in May, 1987 with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Karen married E. Ray Ross, Jr. in December of 1987.
She worked at Cox Health for nineteen years in the Occupational Medicine Clinic.

Karen was a kind, hard-working person, who loved her family dearly. Many mornings she could
be found tending her garden before heading to work, where she ensured that people saw the
right doctors for their issues. Her home was decorated with Mississippi's state flower, the
magnolia. She loved watching football, and was a steadfast fan of any player from her alma
mater.

Karen was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother. She was preceded in death by her father
John Henry Crouch III. Karen is survived by her mother Ann Crouch, her brothers John Henry
Crouch IV and James Taylor Crouch, and by her three children, Ray Henry Ross, Jory Ross,
and Emily Grace Ross.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM, in the Gorman-Scharpf
Funeral Home located at 1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, Missouri 65804. No visitation is
scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mississippi State University, a place
Karen loved.
