Junius Milton (Jake) Price, 95, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on May 8, 2013 after a long illness. Jake was born June 11, 1917 to Robert and Nellie Mae Price. He graduated from Central High School and attended Dranghon's Business College before entering the Army. He retired after 43 years as an engineer for the Burlington Northern Railroad. Jake was preceded in death by his wife Helen (Sally) and grandson Kenneth Winkler. Jake is survived by daughters; Gaye Winkler and Kaye Funk and husband David; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
