June Marie Hehl, 71, departed this life on May 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Robert N. Hehl; mother, Irene Christine Snell of Affton, MO; and father, Milton K. Snell of Milan, MI. In 2005, she settled in Springfield and made the Ozarks her home. She found employment with The Signature Bank and Bancorp South. She soon discovered the importance of community and giving back. She was a Volunteer Ambassador at Dickerson Park Zoo for several years as well as a volunteer at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. In more recent years she became a member of the Greene County Master Gardeners and discovered a joy of flowers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Interment will be on Thursday, May 31 at 2:00 PM at Saint Paul Churchyard, 7600 Rock Hill Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in June's memory to C.A.R.E., Castaway Animal Rescue Efforts, P.O. Box 215 , Aurora, MO 65605, or a charitable organization of your choice.
