Julia Ann Moulder passed away Friday, January 22, 2021.  She was born March 10, 1933 in Navarre, OH to Thelma and Garnet Levi Patterson.  Julia loved telling stories of growing up in a small town with her close family, friends and many beloved pets.  She greatly valued her training in music and elocution and presentation that she received during her bright childhood.  Julia graduated from Navarre High School with honors and went on to graduate from Stephens College in Columbia, MO.  Following graduation, Julia became a staff member at Stephens as an instructor in modeling and design.  Julia met her husband, Earl Thomas Moulder, a hotelier and owner of the Tiger Hotel in Columbia and they enjoyed many years of marriage before his death in 1998.

Following their move to Springfield, Julia became involved in and truly loved the Springfield community.  She was a charter member of the Community Service League later to become Junior League of Springfield, she was a member of the 20 th Century Art Group and a member of Hickory Hills Country Club.  She loved interior design, entertaining friends and being a wife and mother as well as a managing staff member to Moulder Accounting Firm for many years.  Julia's sense of tradition and her love of friendship was the light of her life and she was never happier than with her dear friends and family.
