IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judy
Weekley
January 13, 1941 – June 20, 2025
Judy Weekley, age 84, passed away peacefully in the afternoon after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family and community. Until her final day, Judy remained active in the friendships and charitable activities that brought her great joy, including Cheering for the MSU Bears, Lunch Bunch, Ladies Golf, the Red Hat Society, Bunco, Golf Tournament and supporting special causes dear to her heart.
Judy was born on January 13, 1941, in Washington, Missouri, and was raised in Owensville, Missouri. In 1959, she made Springfield her home, where she was a dedicated member of University Heights Baptist Church. Throughout her life, Judy's greatest passion was creating a loving home and building community wherever her husband Bob's expanding career in sales took them. Together, they enjoyed memorable years in Springfield (twice), Kansas City (twice), Lake St. Louis, Washington, D.C., and New York City. Judy's ability to build meaningful connections in every place she lived instilled in her family a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, experiences, and people.
Judy was a founding member of Highland Springs Country Club, where she helped shape a vibrant and welcoming community. She greatly enjoyed living, dining, and especially golfing at Highland Springs for 36 years. She was also a devoted supporter of Missouri State University Bears athletics, passionately cheering for her beloved teams.
Her family is deeply grateful for the care and support provided by her healthcare providers, the staff at The Preston where she lived for the past 2.5 years, Good Shepherd Hospice, and Phoenix Home Care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to one of the following organizations:
