Judith Ann McGehee, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her Ozark home, surrounded by her family.

Judy was born September 12, 1942, in Ava, Missouri to Clinton and Dorothy (Klineline) Maloney.  Growing up in Ava, Judy developed a deep Christian faith that remained a constant throughout her life.

After graduating from Ava High School, Judy spent most of her life in Springfield, Missouri.  She worked at various businesses where she enjoyed meeting and connecting with people.

On August 2, 1963, Judy married the love of her life, Billy Sunday McGehee.  They were blessed with two children, Kelly and Mark.  Judy loved being with her family and friends, talking and telling stories.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time daily with her Bible and devouring Christian novels.  Her faith never wavered, demonstrating Christian values in all she did.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Billy, and her parents, Clinton and Dorothy Maloney.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Kirkpatrick (Terry Nunn) of Ozark, Mark (Holly) McGehee of Nixa; sister Francis Harmon of Springfield; grandchildren Krystal (Andrew) Wuller, Renon (Nathan) Sahly, and Benjamin McGehee.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday immediately following the visitation, and will be officiated by Richard McGehee and Terry Kendrick.  Interment will follow in Ava Cemetery in Ava, MO.
