Juanita Hopper of Springfield, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 in Cox Health Center. She was born in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Harold and Fern (Cox) Pointer.

She was a member of Evangel College Women's Auxiliary. She loved the sweet ladies who graciously volunteered.

Juanita worked in St. Louis for the federal government for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hopper; and a sister, Marjorie Haumschilt.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Deborah Best, Leawood, KS; son and his wife, Jeffrey and Jillian Hubbard, Jacksonville, FL; and was a loving grandmother "Nannie" to six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was loved by family and friends. Juanita is with Jesus and her family who passed before her.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Seminole Baptist Temple with Dr. Phil Hunter officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
