Obituary

Joyce Dean Scillian, 92, of Springfield passed peacefully at Cox Medical Center South on the morning of April 30, 2022.

She was born February 21, 1930 in Quanah, TX to W.B. Ferguson and Stella Ann Treadaway.
Joyce was united in marriage to S.E. Scillian in Quanah, TX on March 25, 1955.
Joyce was preceded in death by husband, S.E. Scillian and daughter Lora Vee Schmitt.
Joyce is survived by Mark L. Scillian of Springfield, Stephanie A. Robinson and husband Keven of Jefferson City, Jon and wife Connie of Nixa and Son-in-law Fritz Schmitt. She is survived by multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a homemaker. She took great pleasure in caring for her family. She had a life-long love of music, serving musically in multiple church congregations over 6 decades.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
