Joyce Lee Roland, 94, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Cox Hospital. Joyce was born January 23, 1918 in Kansas City, MO to Lafayette and Lillian Mae Lillard. She was very active in the Unity church where she also worked at her first job. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. She is survived by a daughter, Linda "Jamie" Evans of Nixa, MO; son, Carroll Roland of Waterloo, IA; six grandchildren, Kyle Roland of Mooresville, NC, Michelle O'Hegardy of Smyrna, GA, Amy Evans of Springfield, MO, Richard Roland of Parker, CO, Shawn Roland of Des Moines, IA and Andrew Evans of Springfield, MO; and six great-grandchildren, Kyler and Kaitlyn Roland of Mooresville, NC, Neil, Hanna and Ella O'Hegardy of Smyrna, GA and Shelby Joyce Roland of Springfield, MO. A memorial services will be held in Breckenridge, CO, December 29, 2012.
