Josh K. Haik, 36, died the evening of July 31, 2014. He was born September 25, 1977 in Springfield, MO to his parents Joe E. Haik and Donna Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his beloved, loyal and golden-hearted pitbull, Byron, who left this Earth just weeks before Josh. Josh is survived by his parents Joe E. Haik, of Springfield; Donna & Bob Hamilton, of Summerville, SC; siblings Joseph Haik and wife Lauren; niece, Aubrey and nephew, Taylor; Robert Hamilton; niece, Devon and nephew Robbie; Lisa Ford; nephews CJ & Christian Miller; Lauren Hamilton and wife Kim Johnson. Josh is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Haik and Hamilton families; as well as his best friend, Adrena Edwards. Josh was a 1996 graduate of Kickapoo High School. He began working in the family business of retailing/wholesaling fabric at The Fabric Outlet. The shining light in his life was his pitbull, Byron. They were truly best friends in life and now in death. Josh shared 14 years of his life with Adrena Edwards which turned into a beautiful friendship. Josh was loved and will be truly missed by his brother, Joseph, Mom, Bob, Dad, and Adrena. Visitation will be Thursday August 7, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church from 6 to 8pm, with a prayer service at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be Friday August 8, 2014 at 11am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in Springfield, MO, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
