Joseph Michael O'Malley, 66 of Oldfield, MO passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Joe was born in Tulsa, OK on May 29, 1955. Joe married Colleen Grace on September 27th, 2006, in Jasper, AR. Joe served his country in the USAF from September 1978 to his honorable discharge in August 1981.

Joe worked as a heat and air technician before starting his career as a mechanical designer in plumbing and HVAC. He retired from Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins (MFEC), Springfield, MO in 2017. Joe was a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Springfield MO.

He enjoyed playing golf, the guitar, and fishing.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Patrick E. O'Malley. He is survived by his wife, Colleen J. O'Malley of Oldfield, MO; son Patrick O'Malley of Mounds, OK; mother Erma Alyene Orcutt of Jenks, OK; two sisters, Anita J. Chancellor and Margaret A. O'Malley, both of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Larry E. O'Malley of Mounds, OK and James P. O'Malley of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandsons, Bradley Ball of Owasso, OK and Joseph O'Malley of Mounds, OK; granddaughter, Keenan O'Malley of Mounds, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, with the Reverend Winston Burton officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service in the funeral home. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO 65804, with full military honors.
