Joseph Andrew Jorgensen, 61, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. He was born December 24, 1956 in Springfield, Missouri, the third of four children to Edwin and Doris Jorgensen. Joe graduated from Parkview High School and attended Missouri State University, where he graduated with a Biology degree.  He worked at Cowherd Construction for 20 years.  Joe loved spending time with his family and had a passion for baseball and gardening.

Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sherry Jorgensen, and his father, Edwin Jorgensen. He is survived by his mother, Doris Jorgensen; sisters Judith Powell Axon (Scott) and Jana Amsinger (Dennis); brother, Eric Jorgensen (Glendra); nieces and nephews Dr. Mac Powell, Jason Powell, Nikki Shay (Matt), Nathan Jorgensen, and Lori Miller (Ryan); great nieces Ele, Mazy and Mackee Powell; and his precious dog, Tootsie.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside service Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:30 am at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
