Johnnie Lyle Hartin, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Monday with family at his side. He was born to George and Bonnie Hartin, October 29, 1929, in Douglas County. He married Donna on May 31, 1946. Johnnie was a Baker from the age of 15 at Colonial Bakery and worked there for over 41 years. He was also a Real Estate Developer in Springfield. Johnnie was a member of the Steak and Shake Rhubarb Club. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Jane Camplin; nephews, John and Vincent Hartin; and his parents. Surviving Johnnie is his wife, Donna; a brother, Bill and wife Helen of Springfield; three nephews, Billy Hartin, John and David Camplin; a cousin, Ronnie Thomas and wife Sue; and a host of family and friends. A viewing will be held from 12 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Good Hope Cemetery near Ava, Mo.
