John Parks Luckie, II , 70 of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 in his home. He was born September 20, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida to John Parks Luckie, Sr. and Sara Thelma (Stone) Luckie. John was a real estate agent in Springfield for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan and brother, Charles. John is survived by his wife, Betty L. (Williams) Luckie of the home; two sons, Duane Luckie and wife, Shay of Rogers, AR, and Howard Poe of Chilton, TX; grandchildren, Alyson and Jacob of Rogers, AR, Andrew , a sergeant with the US Army currently serving in Afghanistan and his wife, Samantha of Chilton, TX and Aleese, Addison and Aiden of Arlington, TX; and their mother, Sherry Lawson Poe of Arlington, TX. The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 4-6 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
