John L. Litle, 72, of Springfield, MO, passed away on Saturday morning, March 31, 2018.

Born in Dunnegan, MO, November 24, 1945, he was the youngest son of Perry W. Litle and Gertie L. Watt Litle. His family moved to Springfield and he graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1963. He was an accountant as he loved figuring and balancing numbers; Loyal and devoted employee, he worked as long as he could. He was with Consumers and MJ Kelly Company for over 20 years each. John also faithfully attended church and was a member of Second Baptist for 28 years and many years at Broadway Baptist before that. His passion was to be outside in his garden growing fresh vegetables and flowers. Beloved husband, dad, and papa... you will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two brothers, Floyd Litle and Jerry Litle, and two sisters, Neva Baugh and Myrtie Dean Pereria.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandy L. Litle; son, John Paul Litle and daughter, Ashley Rose Litle Anderson, both of Springfield; three grandchildren, Jacob Lane Litle, Tristan James Anderson, and Avery Rose Anderson; a brother, Carl Litle of Nixa, MO, and two sisters, Anna Lee Reale of Sun City, CA and Maggie Wise of Springfield, MO.

Memorial Services will be held at 1pm, Friday, April 13 , 2018 at Second Baptist Church in Springfield under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A Prayer and Burial Service are to follow at Dunnegan Cemetery in Dunnegan, MO.
