Joey Evan Ross, 23, Springfield, passed away suddenly Friday, April 19, 2024 in his home.

Joey was born in Tracy CA, on October 13, 2000.  He lived in Pensacola, FL for a year and Missouri for 20 years.

He leaves behind his mother, Jennifer Ross; father, Jason Ross; siblings, Nathaniel Mix, Krissy Brown (husband Jacob Brown, nephews Trevor Brown, Asher Brown, Caden Brown and niece Sophia Brown), Katie Burleson (husband Scott Burleson, nieces Sapphire Burleson, Zara Burleson, Darcy Burleson and Elsie Burleson), Cory Ross, Renee Ross, Jake Ross, Luke Ross, Jenna Ross, Javan Ross, and Callie Ross; grandmothers, Avis Hammond and Janette Muzzy; uncle, Jeremy Ross with wife Mandy Ross and cousins Jereson Ross, Joelon Ross, and Jericho Ross, and uncle, Dennis Ross (wife Lisa, and cousin Jesse Ross). He was preceded in death by his aunt Tiffany Snow, and survived by cousins Aracelli Keates, Jaxon Haws, Shiana Haws, and EJ Haws.

Joey was also preceded in death by grandfathers, Dennis Ross and James Muzzy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
