Jodi Martin, 47, passed away January 28, 2009, of a heart attack. She was born December 26, 1961, to Russell and Sharol Martin. She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Delores Martin, and Harlan Armstrong; and step-father James Hart. Her father, Russell Martin, was lost in Laos during the Vietnam War, and remains missing-in-action. Jodi is survived by husband, Rusty; mother Sharol Hart; daughter Nicole Meagher and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Samantha and Joseph; grandmother, Evelyn Armstrong; sister Julie Sartin and husband, Kevin; niece Hannah; nephew Bradlee Dunaway; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at 1 p.m., in Frazier Cemetery, near Boaz.
