IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan
Coyan
November 8, 1929 – February 18, 2018
Joan Coyan, 88, Rogersville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Mercy Hospital. She was born November 8, 1929 in Arcadia, Kansas, the daughter of William Franklin and Alice Marie (Holland) Haynes.
Joan's long teaching career had a loving impact on every child in her classroom. Although she never thought her church solos were perfect enough, her beautiful voice placed God's message into the heart and soul of everyone that heard her sing. She found immeasurable joy with family. Joan expressed her love through thought and deed. Love went into every poem she wrote, dish she cooked, and every stitch she sewed. Her faith and love for Christ guided her path, and she shared that with her family, friends and anyone she met. She was dearly loved, and she loved well. Joan was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Wright.
Joan is survived by her loving husband, Conley Fernando Coyan; a son and his wife, Chris and Ida Coyan; a daughter and her husband, Connie and Daniel Heil; two brothers, Bob and Tom Haynes; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
