Jewell (Freeman) Riddle, 96, peacefully returned to her heavenly home on January 30, 2015 after a long blessed life filled with family, love, and admiration. Her devotion to her husband, family, and her firm belief in God supported her during her final days and ultimately gave her peace. Jewell is survived by her husband of 31 years, Hershel Riddle; her son Jim and wife Nancy; son Bob Freeman; and daughter in law Sally Freeman, all of Springfield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by Ed Freeman, her husband of forty-two years; son Chuck Freeman; and grandson Kelley Freeman. Funeral services will be held on Mondy, Feb 2, at 2 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, with a visitation from 1 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
