Jesse Young went to be with his Savior at 4:09am, Monday, April 2, 2012. He was born in Macomb, Missouri on January 12, 1918. AT the age of 16, he entered into the Civilian Conservation Crop. He later enlisted in to the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was married to Sybil Hale on June 23, 1944. In 1980, Mr. Young retired from Kraft Foods after many years of service. He was an active member and deacon at Eastern Gate Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sybil Young, of Springfield, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Young and Maggie Johnson Young; brothers and sisters: Sam Young, Noble Young, Fike Young, Fern Young, Bernice Smith, Genevieve Kelly, Betty Weber, Maggie Campbell, Rose Helsley, and Barbara Young. He is survived by sisters Helen Hanley and Patty Young; his children, Sarah Conner of Springfield, Missouri; John Young of Arkansas; and Mike Young of Rogersville, Missouri; grandchildren: Jeff Conner of Groveton, Texas; Michelle Young of Springfield, Missouri; Greg Conner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; David Young of Manassas, Virginia; Jaimie Young of Springfield, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Jonathan Michael Conner of Groveton, Texas; Holly Bennett of Springfield; Steven Conner of Groveton, Texas; Sarah Catrice Conner of Poteau, Oklahoma; Morgan Hornbuckle of Springfield; Moira Young of Mannassas, Virginia; Sawyer Conner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lucy Conner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and great-great-grandchildren: Rhodesia Conner of Poteau, Oklahoma; Aiden Conner of Groveton, Texas; and Treyshawn Conner of Poteau, Oklahoma; and a host of friends.
