Jerry Elmore, age 71, of Springfield passed away on Dec 12, 2012. He was born on Oct. 15, 1941 in Rhoda, Ky. He attended Edmonson County High School. He served 20 years in the Air Force and retired from the Dept. of Energy Jan 3, 2003. He was married for 53 years to his loving wife, Patricia Ann Webb. They had 3 wonderful children. He was preceded in death by his mother Della Mae McDaniel. He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Betsy (John) Vogel of Livermore, Ca, Rita (Tim) Swafford of Flippin, AR; son Jerry D. Elmore of Springfield; one grandson Billy Endres; and two great-granddaughters Myriah and Olivia of Flippin, AR. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
