Rev. Jeremiah (BoBo) Williams, Jr. was Born August 3, 1949, in Alexandria, Louisiana (Samtown), where he was the 4th of 10 children. Jeremiah "flew away" to be with the Lord February 20, 2021 at Mercy Hospital on February 20, 2021.
Jeremiah was proceeded in death by his parents Rev Jeremiah Williams Sr. and (Lady) Maggie Lean Sherman Williams , both of Alexandria, Louisiana, along with his sister, Shirley Williams.
Jeremiah is survived by sisters, Josephine Williams, Jerlean Williams,Virginia Veal and Doretha Godfrey, and brothers, James, LoVance, David, Lonnie Williams, and their families respectively.
Jeremiah is also survived by his devoted children, Jeremiah Hayes, spouse Jamie and daughters, Briana, Jaidyn, Jayla, (Dallas, Tx): Quinta Williams, and sons, Qurae and Shon'Dre, (Springfield, Mo), and Jeremiah Parlette, partner Brittany and daughters, Jamyra, Jaylinn,and Jorja. As well as 3 other children, (Alexandria, Louisiana) and a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
Jeremiah graduated from Peabody Senior High School in Alexandria in 1967. Later in 1968 he was drafted to the United States Barksdale Air-Force where he accrued many accomplishments such as, Honor Graduate for Material Facilities Specialist, Air-force Traffic-Accident Prevention team, and Certified in the Management Training Program for Air Force Supervisors. As an extensive traveler as he served in Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan during his time of service. He was Honorably discharged as Sergeant in 1976. He later went on to Relocate to Springfield, Mo in 1981 where he retired from Federal Express after 19yrs and retired from the City of Springfield Transit as mostly everyones favorite bus driver.
Jeremiah loved cars and motorcycles and was known for building, repairing, and customizing them. He will be remembered for his love for family and friends., His straightforwardness, and his boisterous laugh. Jeremiah's deep voice and wide smile would light up any room.
His love of basketball, and 'talking smack' whether at O'Reilly's Gym or Silver Springs Park, would always draw a crowd. He was always ready and kept 2 basketballs in the trunk of the car, to light up the court.
Rev. Jeremiah Williams, Jr., will be celebrated with a Memorial Service:
