Jennifer Lynn (Gustke) Andrews, 53 of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She is the matriarch of the Andrews family and loved by an extended family of close friends.
Jennifer was the first born to Sally Lynn Gustke (nee Dunn) and 2 nd Lieutenant Karl Gustke on Reese Airforce Base in Lubbock, Texas on October 9, 1968. She grew up on military bases across the US and overseas in the Philippines with her younger brother Lee. She graduated high school at Maryknoll Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1986. She attended Loyola University, New Orleans, earning a BA in Sociology. There, she met the love of her life, Jonathan. They married in 1991 while Jonathan was pursuing his MBA at Auburn University. Jennifer's commitment and focus to her family was paramount as they relocated multiple times with stops including Arkansas, Minnesota, Georgia, and Missouri. Their first child, Kate was born in 1995, Sarah followed in 1998, Ashley in 2001 and Wyatt in 2004. In 2012, O'Reilly Auto Parts brought them to Springfield, MO. The family has thrived in Springfield under Jennifer's loving care and guidance.
Jennifer brought people together unlike anyone. All felt welcome in her home, and she was a generous host. Her smile will always remain constant, contagious, and beautiful in our memories. Her sense of humor and laughter were infectious.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jonathan, her children Kate and fiancé Brooks Milioni, Sarah, Ashley, and Wyatt. Also by her mother Sally Dunn and Jack Hood, her father Karl Gustke and Melba Gustke and her brother Lee Gustke and Amonrut Jaimoon. In addition, her memory and joy will live on through her close friends including the Snider and Prost families, Lisa Finnegan, Wanda Patrick, and so many others.
Memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2818 East Bennett Street, Springfield, MO 65804, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
