Jeffery Moore age 50 of Springfield, MO passed away on March 13, 2015. He was born in Carbondale, IL and raised in Mount Vernon, IL. As a child, Jeffery's love of music led to guitar lessons. He attended Wren Lake College and obtained his electronics degree. As an extremely accomplished guitarist, he spent a few years touring the country with a band that opened for many well-known bands. After that, he started his work career running a local package delivery service for several years. He then put his electronics degree to work and got a field service job with Marquette Electronics/GE Healthcare. After meeting his current wife Kim in 1995, he moved to Palm Springs, FL in 1996 where they lived for 10 years. In 2006, they moved to Springfield, MO to be closer to family. In Springfield, he was a member of the Elks and a member of a Harley Owners Group because of his passion for motorcycles. He is survived by his loving wife Kim Moore, mother Patsy Thompson, father Robert C Moore, stepmother Loretta, son James Moore, daughter Tawney Moore, half-brother Stephen Moore, half-sister Annaleah Mayer, as well as many other beloved family members. He was preceded in death by his step father Milt B Thompson. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 4:00 pm in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with a gathering from 5-7 pm at the Elks Lodge on East Bennett. Everyone is welcome. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the funeral home.
