Jeffery B. Holstein, 55 of Springfield MO passed away at 4:00 PM on Sep. 2, 2026, in his home following a long illness. He was a member of the United States Army and participated in Operation Desert Storm. After his service he led a successful life in car sales and finance. Jeff was a diehard KC Chiefs fan as well as Mizzou Football. He was a passionate chef and loved to cook for his children and their friends. He loved to make others laugh and hardly knew a stranger. Though he could not overcome the weight of his illness, the love he gave to his family and the light he brought into their lives will always be remembered. 

Jeffery was preceded in death by best friends Chad and Tony, and “Dozer”, his loving and loyal service dog.

He is survived by his parents, Jamie and Teri (Devine) Holstein; sister Amanda Holstein Snider (Phil) and brother Josh Holstein (Maria) and their families; son Zach Holstein; daughters Jesse and Lizzy Holstein, and his significant other Becca Hendrickson.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 - 12:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2026, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, followed by funeral service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home with burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
