Jeffery L. Cox, 50, Urbana, MO passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Berl Cox. Jeffery is survived by his mother, Bettie Ann Cox, Springfield, MO; a son, John Lean, Tonganoxie, KS; a sister, Jackie Ann Van Gorp, Springfield, MO; a brother, James Michael Cox, Springfield, MO; and a niece, Amber Nicole Van Gorp Monteer, who he loved deeply. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Lone Post Cemetery, Urbana, MO. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
