Jeffrey Kenneth Brent, 37, of Springfield, passed away February 20, 2022 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1984 in Springfield.

He graduated from Nixa High School in 2003 and MSU in 2008. Jeff was more than an ordinary super fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He followed their every move from a young age until the last game January 16 of this year and was still feeling that one. He enjoyed time playing both football and baseball and continued watching sports. He was always working out at 9rounds, climbing at Zenith, pranking his friends and co-workers and enjoyed family and friends, but he most enjoyed and cherished the time he spent with his wonderful daughter Paeson, who we know how much he loved.

Jeff was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and friend. We love you Jeff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Brent; brother, Billy Brent; maternal grandfather, Kenny Moore; paternal grandparents Jim and Pat Brent; aunt, Crissy Poynter; uncles Kelly Poytner and Bobby, Larry and Garry Brent; great uncle, Bobby Ripley and Joe Moore, and nephew, Logan Middleton.

He is survived by his daughter, Paeson and her mother, Caitlyn Lohkamp; mother and step-father Pam and Jerry Middleton; sister, Courtney Brent; niece, Olivia Brent and her mother, Esther Nelson; nieces and nephews, Britney, Jerrin, Chelsey, Wes and Dusty; grandmothers Alice Eads and Kathy Moore; aunt, Sally Escarcega (Ernest); uncle, Bud Moore (Jannise); special aunt, Dixie Ripley; step-sister, Susan Stanifer (Aaron); step-brothers Splinter Middleton and Geno Middleton (Barb); cousins,  Kristen, Ryan, Alex, Kyle, Kaleb, Nathan as well as other relatives, his incredible extended Georgia Mac's family and last but not least his loyal dog Hank.

Memorial services will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home with a visitation to follow the service.  Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  The memorial service will be live streamed at the All Occasion Video Springfield Missouri Face book page which can be found here .
