Obituary

Jeannette Claire (Jarman) Freeman, 74 died at home in Springfield, MO on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from natural causes. Jeannette was born May 24, 1940, in Ava, MO, to Merle and Thelma Jarman. She graduated from Ava High School in 1956. She attended Draughon Business College and became a court reporter. She married Larry Freeman on November 24, 1962 and they were blessed with two children, Lauren and Christopher. Jeannette worked as a court reporter for 55 years and owned Freeman and Associates Court Reporting. She was active in her community for most of her life and a faithful member of Christ Episcopal Church. Jeannette is survived by a daughter, Lauren Epperly and her husband Greg; a son, Christopher and his wife, Diane; three grandsons, Grant, Gavin, and Gage; and 3 step-grandsons, Bobby, Sergio, and Mario; and her sister, Marguerite Lundy. Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 1pm in the funeral home.
