Jeanie Lorree Pickering, 54, passed away on December 3, 2017 in Tierra Verde, Florida.  She was born on December 1, 1963, the daughter of James Michael and Martha Jean Pickering.  Her father preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Greenwood Laboratory School and a graduate of Drury University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority.  She was a member of South Street Christian Church, Magna Charta Dames, The National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, National Society Daughters of the American Colonists, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Alford American Family Association and United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Her twenty-three year career in the pharmaceutical industry included Merck Oncology as a Sr. Executive Oncology Representative, Pharmacia as a Hospital Representative and GlaxoSmithKline as a Sr. Hospital Product Specialist.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Pickering of Springfield, Missouri, her sister and brother-in-law, Julie Pickering Drake and Richard Drake of Stilwell, Kansas, nephews, Taylor Drake and Nicholas Drake of Stilwell, Kansas, Garrett Drake of Olathe, Kansas and niece, Cassie Drake Aiello of Overland Park, Kansas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 12:30 -2:30 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Maple Park Cemetery with graveside services at 3:30 p.m., following the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
