Belva "Jean" Wallace, 87, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

She was born on January 2, 1931 in Palestine, Arkansas to Lavenia Mary Thompson and Robert Charles Barton (Bart) Dice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Wallace; son, Robert Wayne Wallace (Bobby); brothers: Robert Dice, Leo Dice, Clarence Dice, Reid Dice and sisters, Eva Nell Dice Donaldson and Marjorie Dice Steffke.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Jean Pollard; son, Mike Wallace and daughter-in-law, Valerie Wallace; granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Pollard and great-grandson, Connor James Pollard; brother, Richard K. Dice and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, also at the funeral home.
