Jean Ann Huxol, age 66, of Springfield, Mo passed away at 2:06pm on March 22, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Jean graduated from Baker University in 1969 with a Bachelor's degree in Art and was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She was an art teacher until retirement in 2004. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Harvey Huxol Sr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Chandra and Brian McAmis; her grandchildren, Connor and Sophia McAmis; her brother, Harvey Huxol Jr.; her nephews, Darren Huxol, Jason Huxol and their families. Jean touched the lives of many people with her loving, caring spirit. She will live on in the hearts of those who love her.
