Janice Miles of Springfield, MO went home to with be Jesus on June 26, 2021, at the age of 62. She was born to Donald Landsdown and Ellen Steward on June 12, 1959.

Janice was a unique soul with a heart of gold. She truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures.

Janice is survived by her mother Ellen Steward; daughters Patricia Ervin and her spouse Joshua Jackson and Latoya Miles; two grandsons Michael Shayne Lee Hendrick and Kamryn Zane Kay; one sister Carrie Goss and her significant other Kevin Jackson. Also surviving are a host of family, friends, and loved ones, including her beloved dog, Lil Man.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband Emitt Cross; her father Donald Landsdown; and stepfather Howard Steward.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole, Springfield MO 65804 to reminisce and support each other. Graveside Services will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO 65804 at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 1, 2021.
