Janice Nadine Graves, 94 years old, of Centralia, Missouri, passed away at 2AM on February 12, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri.  She was a member of the First Christian Church of Centralia, Missouri.  She was born on March 12, 1926, to Orva Mae (Garrison) and Harry R. Butt.  She married Chester R. Graves in Decatur, Illinois, on November 5, 1949.  She was a devoted mother and homemaker.  As her children grew older, she worked as a secretary in several different businesses. She loved living at the lake and fishing with her husband and her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry R. and Orva Mae (Garrison) Butt, her husband, Chester Royal Graves, and her son-in-law, Danny Lee Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Jewell Kaye Graves Biddle of Littleton, Colorado, Debra Linn Jones of Centralia, Missouri, and Roxanne Mikesch and her husband Mark, of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Joshua Clay Smith and Dillon Tyler Jones; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Faith Smith, Logan Stephen Smith and Isabella Leigh Smith.

There will be a funeral service at the First Christian Church of Centralia, Missouri, on March 20, 2021, at 1PM, with a celebration of life in the church hall to follow. The service will be live-streamed at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHOtRkBuBiqr7nErUPJUtbw
There will be a private graveside service at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri, on March 22.
