Janette Helen Fitzgerald, 36 of Nixa, MO passed away on March 22, 2018.

Janette was born in Springfield, MO on March 20, 1982 to Caroline Janoka Garner and Charles David Garner. She married Justin Fitzgerald on the 9th of September 2006 in Springfield, MO.

Janette attended Springfield Catholic High School, Ozark Technical College and graduated on the Dean's List from Drury University.

She meant so much to so many. She loved without judgement; she was caring and loved animals. Janette loved her family, and she loved her friends like they were her family. She loved to help others feel better, she enjoyed giving gifts from the heart and showing her love.  She would take anyone or any animal in and love and help them. She loved to take pictures, make scrapbooks, read and write. Above all else, Janette loved being a wife and mom.

Janette was preceded in death by her dad, Charles David Garner. Janette is survived by her husband Justin Fitzgerald; their son Jackson Fitzgerald; her mom Caroline Garner; father and mother-in-law Mark and Michelle Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law Natalie and Devin Holt; sister-in-law Lindsay Fitzgerald; and a nephew and niece.

A memorial service is being held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 3:00pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.
