Janet Dianne (Sundstrom) Morris 63, surrendered to her fight with cancer on June 30, 2014. Born in Omaha, Nebraska she lived her entire life in Springfield. She received her undergraduate degree and Master's degree from Missouri State University. Intertwined during her years as mother and homemaker she was employed as an elementary education teacher, group home trainer, and co-owner of Boat & Yacht Brokerage Company. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church. Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Sundstrom, and her sisters Susie Hannah and Daphn Roper. She is survived by her devoted son, Herman A. "Chip" Morris IV, father Dr. Frank D. Sundstrom (Patricia), and sister Wendy Kollmeier (Bob), nieces and nephews Marcus, Ean (Lyn Lyn & son, Jacob), Heidi Hannah, and Chelsey Kollmeier (Max). Janet's cat, Tom, was her special companion and a great source of comfort over the last 17 years.
