Jamie Lou Partenheimer, 64, passed away Monday July 16, 2012 in Cox South Hospital. She was born March 10, 1948 in Madison County, N.C. near the Bull Creek community. Jamie grew up in N.C. and graduated from Mars Hill H.S. in Madison County, N.C. She has resided in Springfield since 1970. Her favorite pastimes included listening to country music, fishing, and spending time with her beloved family. Jamie is preceded in death by her parents James Andrew and Johnny Margaret Sprinkle; one step-son Mark Partenheimer and two sisters Lois Hensley and Patricia Johnston. Jamie is survived by her husband Harry Partenheimer of Springfield, MO; two step-sons Dennis Partenheimer of Springfield, MO, Jeffrey Partenheimer of Overland, MO; two brothers Jimmy (Sandy) Sprinkle of Bull Creek of N.C., Merritt (Tama) Lee Sprinkle of Bull Creek, N.C.; four sisters Lula Belle (Jim) Berry of Mountain View, AR, Jo (D.H.) Wilde of Saltillo, MS, Sarah Faye (Buddy) Ledbetter of Weaverville, N.C., Naomi (J.B.) Sams of Bull Creek, N.C.; four granddaughters and four great-granddaughters. Funeral service will be Friday July 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with visitation Thursday July 19, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Bull Creek, N.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association .
