James Michael Stacey, 74, of Springfield, MO, passed away at home on the 8 ^th of January, 2022.

He was a member of the United States Army and proudly served is country from 1966 to 1969.  His combat service in Vietnam shaped the remainder of his life.  James later went on to receive his Air Frame and Power Plant license from the FAA and worked in the airline industry.  His crowning achievement in life was his sons and grandchildren.  James also had a life-long passion for Antique Automobiles and tractors.

James was preceded in death by his father, Joe E. Stacey, his mother, Anna C. Stacey and a brother, Darryl Jo Stacey.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Stacey; three sons, Adam R. Stacy, Joseph A. Stacey and James N. Stacey; and grandchildren, Griffin Stacey, Vada Stacey, Brylei Stacey, Hudson Stacey and Nora Stacey.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 13, 2022 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled American Veterans.
