James "Jim" Neu passed away December 3, 2018 at Mercy Hospital.

Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather.

Upon graduation with a degree in English Literature from San Jose State, Jim worked as a Specifications Engineer in the Aerospace and Defense industry until his retirement in 1996. During his retirement, he took pleasure in making creative artwork and spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley (Roethemeier) Neu. His daughters, Teri (Larry) Staab and Kelly (Jeff) McCune both of St. Louis. Six grandchildren; Megan, Jake, Sarah, Emily, J.R. and Kenzie.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Graveside Services will follow at 3:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
