James Martin Healey, 83, of Springfield, MO, was received by our heavenly Father surrounded by his loving family on Friday October 30, 2015. He was born in Springfield, MO., on June 18, 1932 to Joe and Genevieve Healey. He graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1950 and his classmates have been lifelong friends. Jim served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Lucille Ohmes on August 22, 1959. Jim worked as an accountant during his professional career. He was a loving husband and father and an avid sports fan, especially of local teams. He enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing on Table Rock Lake with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jo Ann, and brother Joe. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Lucille; brother Robert and wife Pearl of Springfield, MO; daughter Marcia Horine and husband Bruce of Springfield, MO and grandsons Erich and Brian Linneman; son Mike Healey and wife Susan of Castle Rock, CO and grandsons Brad and Chuck Healey; daughter Trish Seaman of Wentzville, MO and grandchildren Andy Seaman and wife Kelly, Alli Baxter and husband Richie, Sarah and Rachel Seaman; Larry Healey of Overland Park, KS; Tom Healey and wife Jeanie of Branson MO, and grandsons Jude, Hank, and Amos Healey. Visitation will be at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel on Sunday evening November 1, 2015 from 5 - 7 pm with a rosary service starting at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Parish, with Fr. Tom Kiefer officiating, at 10:00 am on Monday November 2, 2015. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Springfield Catholic High School.
