Beyond his professional life, James led a very full and vibrant life. He was a man of many talents and interests.
In his 'off time,' he was a cattle rancher, pilot, car trader, die-hard FORD man, NASCAR follower, and a loyal Democrat. James was a man ofat warmth, known for his ability to make friends easily and maintain strong relationships. His circle of friends and family spanned from California to Florida, touching many lives at various points in-between.
He is preceded in death by his parents, JW and Bea; his brothers, Jackie Hayward and Alan Hayward; his loving wife, Patricia (Mullens) Hayward; and his cherished grandchildren, Michael and Lori Blankenship.
