James E. Dando Sr. passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the age of 91.  He loved God and his family and loved teaching others about God. He was of the first graduating class of Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX and was proud to have preached the Gospel for more than sixty years.

Jim is now in heaven with his sweet wife of 54 years, Doris Ann Dando; his son, Michael Eugene Dando; his daughter, Deborah Lee Wall; and his son-in-law, Glenn W. Fletcher.

Jim was a graduate of Drury University and later joined and served in the Navy as an Airport Control Operator at Whiting Field in Milton, Florida.

Jim, and his wife, Ann, attended Sunset Church of Christ for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunset Church of Christ, 1222 W. Sunset St, Springfield, MO 65807.

The service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
